Blog No. 6 Blair Zaye Presents ‘Exposed’ 11th-14th August 2016

There will be some of my life drawings on display at a group exhibition ‘Exposed’.
Blair Zaye takes over Ben Oakley Gallery for an exhibition of figurative art.
The depiction of the human figure has appeared throughout art history. Falling back on this history ‘Exposed’ shows an appreciation for the human form in a variety of mediums in contemporary times. Whether painting, sculpture, drawing, traditional or new media, representational or abstract, from realism to cubism, all the artwork in ‘Exposed’ references the human body in one way or another. The title of the show ‘Exposed’ not only alludes to the idea of nakedness and the human form but also to the exposure of these talented emerging artists in a gallery setting.
Expect to see original artwork in a salon style display along side a collection of prints. There will also be a number of life drawing classes during the exhibition.
